Beautifully done, a beautiful style. I’m so happy to see so many young beautiful ladies who embrace the elegance of the 40′s. Although I wasn’t born until the late 40′s (48), I watched all those beautiful actresses of the 40′s in film with my mom as they were on TV until the 60′s. I have so many good memories of the fashion and hairstyles and grace of that era, and watching those old movies with my mom.

Just finished trying out this style. It looks great, but I had a lot of trouble with the back. I figured out why, though. My hair really isn’t that thick. -__- I ended up having to put it into a tighter bun, but it worked out pretty well. I think it’s a style I’ll do often. :]
I think I may have to try this style sometime….once I get a hairnet. lol

This is lovely! It wasn’t so terribly hard to do. And right now my hair’s kind of a mess and I can’t wear it loose, so it’s a perfect hairstyle to look neat and elegant despite my own mess
